Vision behind the App

BGG started as an Instagram marketing course that outlines everything you need to know to build an online community of like-minded people, based on Lucy Jackson's expertise from building @wethe_wildones, @jaggerandstone and her own profile.

The Basic Girls Guide (BGG) app is a comprehensive organizational tool conceptualized by Lucy Jackson. Lucy’s vision was to develop an app that could help people stay on track in all areas of their lives. She had a clear idea of what she wanted, and she came to us to bring her vision to life.

User Experience

Our team had several meetings with Lucy to understand her vision and create a plan for the app. We analyzed the features she wanted and the target audience she wanted to reach. One of the challenges was to create an app that appealed to a wide audience, including busy professionals, students, and stay-at-home moms.

We worked closely with Lucy on the user interface and create the various features of the app. The goal was to make the app user-friendly and intuitive, allowing users to quickly and easily plan their schedule, set goals, and journal their thoughts.

App Features

The Basic Girls Guide app has both Lite and Pro subscriptions, allowing users to choose the plan that best suits their needs. Here are some of the features we built into the app:

Plan Your Schedule

The app features a calendar that allows users to plan their daily, weekly, and monthly schedule. The calendar is easy to use and allows users to quickly schedule appointments, meetings, and events.

Share Events

Users can create and invite friends or colleagues to events and meetings directly from the app. Sharing events on social media or via iMessage is also possible.

Set Your Goals

Users can set weekly, monthly, and yearly goals and use the prominent location of the goals feature on the home screen to remind themselves daily of their goals. This feature allows users to hold themselves accountable and stay motivated.

Write Your Lists

The app features a to-do list and reminder feature that helps users get work done. Any unfinished tasks automatically transfer to the following day.

Journal Your Thoughts

The Journal feature encourages users to practice gratitude and reflect on their thoughts. Users can look back on past entries or share their entries with friends on social media or via iMessage.

App Updates

We continue to work with Lucy to develop newer versions of the Basic Girls Guide app. Our team is always looking for ways to improve the app and make it more user-friendly. We are proud to say that the app has helped many people stay organized and achieve their goals.

The Basic Girls Guide app is an excellent example of how a simple idea can become a powerful tool when combined with technology. Lucy’s vision and our team's expertise have helped create an app that has become an essential part of many people's lives.
